Toddler Backpack

Looking back at yesteryears, kids and even teeners had only regular bags to put their things.  Most of these bags had shoulder straps to hang the bags over one shoulder across to the other side of the body.

Those bags are not quite as easy for kids to have around them especially when playing.  It swings around the body whenever they run around.  The more it is uncomfortable when their drinks and snacks are in it.   There were also bags that had just handles to carry them around.  Although those bags were old school, one thing was, many of them were made in genuine leather and not as expensive as leather bags are now.

With the advent of backpacks and various designs, it is actually fun to see these kids in what they call toddler backpacks.  They could easily play around even with those backpacks on.  One real good feature of those backpacks is the compartments.  On the sides there are pockets where they could conveniently put their drinks.  It is amazing when they are so used to those backpacks that they can easily reach out for whatever they have on the side pockets.  More so when they put it back even without having to look.  The backpacks prove to be convenient for kids whether they use it for school or somewhere else where they need to bring personal things.  They could easily pack in a couple of clothes, hair brush, tooth brush, sanitizer and a small towel.

For school use, toddler backpacks help motivate children to go to school.  It’s for the reason that they are able to choose a design that they like.  Children’s different tastes amuse them when they are together.  They get curious why one picked a particular design.  There are those designed to look like superheroes, cartoon characters, animals, cars and many others conceivable to please children.  Another nice feature of the backpacks is the padded straps.  Even with some weight with its contents, the straps provide comfortable cushion on the shoulders.  Some manufacturers even incorporate safety features.  Others yet have removable parent’s strap.  There are also choices on how wide the backpack opens with the zippers.  Some still offer magnetic flaps or with Velcro for quick opening and closing.

Almost all backpacks are made of denier plus nylon, PVC free.  There are also quilted ones to provide more comfort and probably even use it as a pillow.  With the water-proof construction, backpacks are assured to keep the contents dry.  The insides have some small pockets for small items with convenient access.  Some have access both inside and outside.  For larger toddler backpacks, some have rollers and pull-out handles.  This serves very well and adds convenience for just towing.  The variety of colors makes the backpacks more pleasing to the eyes and gives children almost the exact color or color combinations they like.  Many kids own several and sometimes used for specific occasions.  There are those for just strolling, for outing, for picnic and maybe a couple for school.
